Takes his inspiration from the natural surroundings of his childhood, the rice fields, bathing places, white Herons and bamboo groves where he can often be found drawing before starting a project. He has worked on the Wakatobi Island diving centre as well as the Raja Ampat lodge in Papua, where his talents came to the fore in steering the resort to become a natural extension of the surroundings rather than a jarring contrast.

On joining IMAGE was immediately thrown in the deep end, by being sent of to the Turks and Caicos in the British West Indies. There he had to learn to sink or swim working on the demanding prestigious beach club Boutique Villas for the AMAN resort GROUP. He is now enjoying photography and trekking in between making more superb drawings for us. Raja Ampat Architecture design also.
